Masureel, a historical heritage

In the 19th century, the Masureel family operated in the flax ruining industry to produce this natural fiber. It was at the beginning of the 20th century that the textile weaving factory took shape, allowing the family to become active in textiles and interior fabrics from 1937.

Founded in the 1980s, the Belgian brand originally focused on the world of textiles decided to dedicate in particular on textile printing and the creation of quality wall coverings.

From 2004, the publishing house chose to create its own brands of wall coverings. Thus are born, Khrôma, Guy Masureel and Zoom.

In addition to being a place of creation, their factory houses state-of-the-art machinery for the production of the highest quality wall coverings.

Masureel is recognized for its commitment to social and environmental responsibility. The brand emphasizes sustainable practices such as the use of recycled or low-impact materials, eco-friendly water-based printing processes, and waste reduction at its production facility in Flanders. It is part of a European sustainability initiative, with voluntary commitments regarding resource management and certifications such as REACH, VOC A+ for indoor air quality, and FSC, the label for responsible forest management.
