Collection Materialism

Presented in April 2018 at the Post Design gallery in Milan, Materialism collection features bold and colorful works by artist Nathalie du Pasquier and designer Georges Sowden. Founding members of the Memphis movement, dissolved in 1988, the duo engages in a new collaboration around ceramics, furniture, designs and rugs. Their approach, and interest, is in this world where industrial production takes precedence over crafts and small productions. Materialism is the culmination of this reflection and presents hand-made rugs in a limited edition of 36 numbered pieces signed by their authors.
