Created by Italian designers duo Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran, founders of Dimore Studio, Paralleli collection opens bridges between ancient crafts, art and contemporary design. Faithful to their artistic approach, the designers explore the memories of the past, traditions and materials, diverting without censoring accidents and oxidations inflicted by time to create a sophisticated visual and emotional language. They provide a sensitive interpretation where baroque borders meet contemporary monochrome geometric shapes, metallic inserts blend into the wool weaving, revisited Persian patterns invite themselves on a minimalist motif refering to American postpictorial abstractionism, thick seams finally assembling these different worlds.
