Inspired by traditional Persian gardens, describing these enclosed landscape gardens designed for rest and pleasure of all senses, India Mahdavi offers her winter version of an imaginary earthly paradise. With only two tones, the drawing is articulated around a central motif of foliage undergoing the distortion of the wind with a symmetrical and regular trellis pattern at its edge. This interpretation forms a bridge between the tradition belonging to both the history of the century-old Golran brand and the eclectic influences of this talented designer.
