House of Hackney fabrics play with fun, colorful motifs and prints, just like their wallpapers, which use the same motifs. Certified BCorp, it meets strict social and environmental standards, as well as transparency with its customers. The wallpapers are certified FSC. With the success of their concept store and encouraged by the positive reception for the designs of House of Hackney fabrics and wallpapers, they decided to found a ready-to-wear line in 2013. Today, their store East London brings together the brand's emblematic products, where furniture, fashion and accessories are found. The brand is present in 35 luxury stores and concept stores around the world. The unmistakable patterns of the House of Hackney wallpaper and fabric can be found all over the world, and always attract huge attention with their striking patterns.

House of Hacknet places respect for future generations at the heart of its business model. The brand’s ambition is to prove that a company can thrive while creating sustainable products. In 2023, it appointed a Director of Nature and Future Generations to its board of directors with the support of the NGO Lawyers for Nature. This role ensures that every decision takes into account the impact on the environment and future generations. Since 2024, House of Hackney has been measuring the social and environmental impact of its products, with the goal of reducing this impact and becoming “regenerative.”

In 2025, House of Hackney achieved a score of 109/200 on the B Corp certification, which evaluates performance in governance, the environment, working conditions, and community impact. House of Hackney collaborates with committed artisans and suppliers, such as using PVC-free wallpaper printed in Sweden and fabrics manufactured in the UK using sustainable processes. The brand prioritizes regenerative fibers like cotton and plant-based alternatives, and seeks to limit the use of fossil-based materials.

House of Hackney doesn’t just limit its impact—it actively seeks to restore nature and encourage other companies to adopt similar models. Their motto: “Success isn’t measured by profit, but by the ability to leave behind a livable world.”
