Marimekko

More than just a brand or a style, Marimekko is a state of mind, based around liberty and creativity. These concepts are used in the Marimekko wallpaper collection. Their mission is to develop an independent, strong, optimistic and timeless aesthetic. Founded in 1951 in Finland by Viljo and Armi Ratia, Marimekko grew thanks to two design pioneers, Vuokko Nurmesniesmi in the 1950s and Majia Isola in the 1960s.
