Rugs between avant-garde et tradition
The Nodus collection is rich, with timeless, unique and provocative pieces by great designers such as Matali Crasset, Ineke Hans and Paolo Cappello. This object which is usually rectangular or circular, is metamorphosed and takes on new organic shapes and irregular edges. It becomes a frame, a puzzle to compose, a surface to cut and incise, to transform into cushions, with ornaments inspired by contemporary world objects, or by modernizing the colors and patterns of the persian rug.
Nodus is not only a laboratory of experimentation, it is also a cultural project where the craftsmanship guarantees the respect of the workers. The brand has the Goodweav certification, a strict control label validating that children are not exploited in its fabrications. Every tree months, this international foundation visits manufacturing workshops in order to achive optimal control. Similarly, each year, Nodus teams travel the world to check and control the quality of raw materials while ensuring good working conditions and fair wage for the various stakeholders. Under the ownership of the family buisness Il Piccolo, expert in the layout and renovation of public and private spaces, Nodus creates real works of art hand-knotted, which are designed to arouse surprise and wonder.
