This unique collection features drawings of René Gruau chosen by Ferid Amini from the archives of Fede Cheti, entrepreneur and Milanese designer from 1930 to 1970. Major illustrator of the 20th century, René Gruau literally built the graphic landscape over nearly 60 years. His recognizable panache designs are published in the most prestigious fashion magazines from L’officiel to Marie-Claire or Harper’s Bazaar. He also worked for many years with Christian Dior and helped launch the post-war New Look. His emblematic works portray elegant Parisians, a social or insolent Paris, and are among the most striking illustrations of the 20th century.
