Hiatus 2 rug explores the duality between geometric rationality and the uncertain and living character of the artisanal process. Hand-knotted in a composition of wool and bamboo silk threads, this rug imagined by the Brazilian designer Gustavo Martini brings together two opposite worlds where the roundness of the shape and the rigidity of the lines confront each other in a light and vaporous superimposition.
