The Kashmir fabric was entirely designed around the classic and iconic pattern of the same name. Woven in the Lelièvre factory in the Lyon region, this precious fabric with large paisley motifs is wildly sophisticated in its treatment of details. It incorporates wool, echoing traditional cashmere shawls. It is a silk warp, silk and wool woven lampas which brings a warm side to the fabric, the introduction of wool yarns also gives it soft matte effects. Kashmir has an extraordinary hand and a very beautiful drape.
