Rustic Sambe is named after a Korean hemp traditionally used for clothing. Here, Arte has turned it into a wallcovering, using a weaving technique that enhances its characteristic roughness. The irregular tone of the thick, weft-woven fibres creates a seductive flamed effect. This is accentuated by the fine black threads of the warp to underline the handmade charm.
