Barkhan Wall Covering Arte
The two-tone pattern of the Barkhan model is inspired by the barkhan dunes in the Paracas desert, Peru. The figures describe clusters of sand arranged in a string of crescents. In order to emphasize the concave and convex shapes, Arte plays with the contrast between light and dark hues. This detail is also reinforced by the reflections of the velvet backing.
