Roses de Cuirs and a charming floral wallpaper. Papier Français decided to restore this design dating from 1798. Originally created by the Paulot et Cie factory, it depicts a romantic garden where peacocks and birds are freely blooming. A splendid dwelling also appears among the thorny rose bushes. The fine details almost give the illusion of smelling a sweet fragrance.

"I had in mind that when I got to the rosebush, I would fill a piece of my leather garment with roses, to offer as a gift to my beloved. When I came back, the smell of roses intoxicated me so much that the leather garment slipped out of my hand. Only the scent remained."
