From one of the archives of the meeting of National Museums currently exhibited at the Orsay Museum, this panel represents a print by the French artist Henri Rivière. From his series The Thirty-six Views of the Eiffel Tower, the engraver pays tribute to Japanese prints and more particularly to Katsushika Hokusai's famous series The Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. This wall covering draws a snow-covered Paris, passers-by carried by the wind and an Eiffel Tower under construction. Neutral colors bring a graphic touch to the whole.
