Designer Karim Rashid pays tribute to Egyptian culture with the Ki knotted rug, published by Illulian. The design immerses the eye in the energizing effect of concentric curves in full movement. These halos, colored a fluorescent yellow, oscillate around a dark or light ka, a vital force that survives after death. The palette accentuates the illusion of depth, in addition to the dynamism it brings to the spaces.
