Like a peneplain of organic shapes, Bref rug plays on relief to texture spaces. The monochrome figures, hand-knotted in Serge Lesage's workshops, stand out from the base by their unevenness. They appear to be sculpted on white marble with a rough surface, ingeniously interpreted by the short strands.
