NDP37 Rug by Nathalie du Pasquier Post Design

Mastering the humor and non-conformism of the Memphis group of which she was a founding member, French artist Nathalie du Pasquier imagines for the Post Design gallery in Milan, guardian of the Memphis collections, a limited series of exceptional rugs. Designed in 2005, NDP37 rug compiles the artist's desire to play with geometric shapes and abstraction in a bold and unexpected color palette. Fleeing the austerity of a neutral and expected mass design, this creation also honors artisanal means of production. This rug, published in a limited series signed by the artist, is made in pure wool by Nepalese craftsmen using the Uma technique according to Tibetan traditions.
