Former founding member of the Memphis movement in 1980, Nathalie du Pasquier pursues a career devoted to painting. During a collaboration with Post Design gallery in Milan in 2005, she signed an exceptional series of rugs from which NDP31 is derived. We find in this design her attraction to symmetry in a composition of two-dimensional geometric shapes made up of flat areas of complementary colors. This masterpiece is hand-knotted in Nepal and edited in a limited series signed by the artist.
