Born in 1915 in Great Britain, Sir Terry Frost is recognized as one of the major abstract artists of his generation. Becaming a painter after a period of captivity during World War II, his work freely combines geometric shapes and bright colors reflecting his sense of joy at having survived those dark years. His work is now held in museums and galleries worldwide. Closest to the artist's intentions, Variations rug is based from a 1973 print that Christopher Farr Editions adapted in association with the Stoneman Gallery and the Terry Frost Estate.
