The Untitled 1941 fabric, designed by Dedar for the Contemporary Archives collection, features an abstract pattern in the Bauhaus style. Its geometric weave, regular in appearance, reveals a syncopated composition upon closer inspection. The jacquard combines eight wefts and several weave patterns, where the cut thread animates both the front and the back. The woven surface thus gains a tactile relief and a shifting depth.
