Drawing XVI (b) 1974 velvet from Dedar, part of the Contemporary Archives collection, features a pattern of geometric triangles in a checkerboard design that evokes the Bauhaus spirit. The jacquard combines a looped background with vertical movement and a dense, matte, almost cottony pile. The irregular repetition of abstract shapes creates a subtle optical vibration. Design developed with the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation.
