Paro Fabric Casamance

Paro fabric is Casamance's ode to a Himalayan valley in Bhutanese country. The landscape, renowned for its serenity, is seen here from a more dynamic angle. Rice fields, mountainside dzongs, meadows and the Pa Chu river are lost in geometric abstraction. The shapes brighten up the spaces with their energising graphics in earthy colours, digitally printed or embroidered on a flamed background.
