Vallarta is a cotton sateen made by Christian Lacroix with a lush floral design. Dense clusters of poppies and cosmos flowers are drawn on a varied scale, lightly overlapping each other on a dark or light background. The colours used are soft and flowing, giving the painting a watercolour style. The textile has a smooth surface and a soft fall.
