Jourdain Fabric Casamance

The Jourdain fabric is characterised by broad, exquisitely ornamented embroidered stripes that are repeated on its surface. The embroidery is rhythmic at regular intervals and consists of interlacing patterns on a cotton sateen background. This sophisticated pattern was inspired by the glass roof of the Samaritaine, designed by Belgian architect Frantz Jourdain. Signed Casamance, Jourdain is available in deep and light colours.
