Holman Hunt Fabric Hodsoll Mc Kenzie
This fabric was inspired by a work by the British artist William Holman Hunt. In 1868, the founder of the Pre-Raphaelites painted a portrait of his wife Fanny. This proposal by Hodsoll McKenzie is based on this painting. This voluminous decorative fabric consists of a fine linen warp that holds twisted wool weft threads in a floating seam. This technique perfectly captures the elegance and melancholy of the original work.
