The Ria upholstery fabric designed by Métaphores is a velvet decorated with a contemporary design embroidered in tone on tone. Resulting from multiple influences, its undulating forms can evoke corals or Japanese poetic landscapes. The name of this cotton velvet is taken from a topographic element designating the lower part of a valley formed by a series of islets and winding coves invaded by the sea. The subtle shift in color between the embroidery in viscose thread and the matte background illuminates the pattern.
