To create Lynx, the English designer Emma J Shipley chooses to draw in neutral colors with a lot of detail, reminiscent of naturalist engravings. It represents a winged lynx in full motion surrounded by vegetation, hummingbirds, butterflies, shooting stars and arrows. The tail of the hybrid feline appears to have turned into a plant. Made of cotton, the pattern repeats over the entire surface of the textile, reversing the sense of design, giving the whole an impression of movement.
