Designed by Morris, Kennet is a nod to one of the tributaries of the Thames. Originally, the fabric was produced with the indigo discharge technique at Merton Abbey. The Morris & Co version displays large leaves and flowers on an intertwined stem. A multitude of tiny foliage represent here vine elements.
