Reines d'Arles Cushion Christian Lacroix

The Reine d'Arles cushion, designed by Christian Lacroix, is inspired by the silk velvet ribbons on the traditional headdress worn by Arles women. It features a superimposition of braids embroidered with multicoloured flowers, photographed and then printed on mercerised cotton. The back, made from the same fabric, features inverted triangles in a play of two-tone colours that emphasise their graphic design.
