Zimmer + Rohde embeds its responsible approach in a long-term vision: balancing economic performance, social impact and environmental stewardship. Sustainability is one of the group’s five strategic pillars, led by a dedicated team, with a first sustainability report published in 2023.
On the environmental front, Zimmer + Rohde is committed to continuously improving energy efficiency, reducing emissions, discharges and waste, and raising employee awareness of ecological issues. A carbon footprint has been calculated and reduction actions are being implemented, with transparent communication on progress. On the product side, the brand has defined “Responsible Design” criteria: incorporation of at least 50% recycled fibres and use of certified natural fibres (GOTS, BCI, C2C, Fairtrade, European Flax, RWS). In the office, the group prioritises “Blue Angel” recycled paper and FSC-certified stationery.
This progressive, rigorous approach aims to deliver responsible beauty, based on verifiable material choices and continuous process improvement.
