Osborne & Little's Alisa velvet features a chessboard pattern highlighted with a light accent. The figures create a checkerboard effect by alternating squares of contrasting colours and textures. The raised squares are created by tufting velvet fibres onto the base backing. These tufted threads thicken the textile and give it a velvety feel.
