Designed in 2011 by artist Nathalie du Pasquier, NDP47 rug participates in the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Memphis group of which she was a founding member alongside Ettore Sottsass in 1981. With the same desire to have fun in creation , the driving force behind the Memphis designers, the painter offers a painting that is half figurative and half abstract. Its lively and playful colors accompany the movement of her stylized flowers and birds while geometric shapes emerge in an unfinished perspective. This artwork of pure wool is made in the Tibetan tradition and edited in a limited series signed by the artist.
