The Harlequin X Henry Rolland collection marks the first collaboration between the English house and the famous ceramicist. The models are inspired by the art of ceramics, such as nerikomi, bisque firing or marbling. These different techniques present specific textures translated through weaving, embroidery or printing. The fabric patterns, in particular, are designed using artisanal processes that give them a unique graphic look. The wallpapers are enhanced with a wide mineral palette, where contrasting shades bring rhythm. Such mastery of colors makes the figures move and awakens the spaces.

These identifying features reveal the signature of Andrea Zanotelli, a designer who loves folklore and nature. His fight against climate change is in line with that of the publisher, hence their fruitful collaboration. The range conveys an ecological message, both in the symbolism of the figures and in the raw materials used. Plant fibres are preferred for the fabrics, as they are for the FSC-certified wallpapers. The figures are appealing for their artistic richness, where Celtic and Gothic art come together to create contemporary interiors.
