Inspired by a painting by artist Giambattista Tiepolo, Alessandra Bladerischi creates a hand-tufted rug edited by Nodus. By keeping the particular format of the Venetian painting originally intended for church domes, the designer imagines an original design piece. She transposes the figures by suggesting them only by colored areas, removing all details, thus bringing an abstract side to the whole. With this creation, the artist celebrates Italian cultural heritage in a contemporary way.
