With Lynx by Clarke and Clarke, London designer Emma J Shipley transports us into a fantastic universe. She draws a pattern with a lot of details, evoking naturalist engravings. The design represents a sumptuous lynx in full motion surrounded by vegetation, hummingbirds, butterflies, shooting stars and arrows. Hybrid, the feline is winged and its tail seems to have turned into a plant. All the elements that surround it bring mystery and animation to the whole. This pattern is repeated over the entire surface of the linen textile, reversing the direction of the design.
